Over the summer we have been working on extending Pathways Explore to include additional progression information for each of the 852 careers available to view.
We love the Explore product and are getting great feedback from colleges and schools who are currently using it. It’s a fantastic way for students to research careers of interest and see key details about that career - with a clear link to the courses you offer which provides a pathway to doing that job.
Within our Pathways One product we’ve always gone into greater detail with regards to progression information for a particular career and we were keen to introduce some of this greater depth into Pathways Explore.
Customisable tabs
Over a series of updates throughout the summer months, we’ve introduced new customisable tabs that display within a career page on Pathways Explore.
These tabs display after any related courses you have mapped to this career and show information for:
- Common study routes
- Apprenticeship options
- Similar careers
- Live job vacancies
- Apprentice vacancies
Bringing this greater depth into Pathways Explore is fantastic, as it becomes a much more informative tool and allows students to see extended information and clear pathways based on their careers of interest.
Within your Pathways admin section you have the ability to control which of these tabs to display. You have options to 'always show', 'only show when no courses are mapped' and 'never show'.
As always, we’d love to hear your feedback on these new features. If you’d like to talk to us in detail about this or any other aspect of Pathways, just get in touch and we can arrange an online demo.
